چکیده
In this work, the performance of an amine-based post-combustion carbon capture system using MEA (monoethanolamine) integrated to a Waste-to-Energy (WtE) plant is studied. WtE plants are affected by fluctuations at different time-scales, due changes in waste properties as well variations district heat demand. A dynamic model combined used study effect flue gas on operation, and integrating into plant. When two considered separately, requirement corresponds 27% nominal thermal capacity plants, steam extraction from boiler drum provide necessary reduces power production 30% 6% respectively, while turbine causes reduction 8% 12%. By modifying condensers’ temperature, it possible maintain 96% original production. performing only when excess available, 47% CO2 emitted plant, reducing 5%.

Two scenarios for carbon capture and storage in Vietnam
Vietnam plans to develop dozens of new coal-fired power generation units over the next 20 years. In order to reduce emissions, it may appear necessary to dispose of these plants' CO2 by burying it in deep underground geological formations instead of releasing it into the atmosphere, using Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology. We show that CCS has a technical potential in Vietnam. To disc...
